About Catie Staszak
Catie Staszak is a multimedia sports journalist, the CEO of Catie Staszak Media, Inc., and the color commentator and journalist for the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ North American League. Staszak has announced at showjumping events across the globe, and in 2018, she moderated at the FEI Sports Forum in Lausanne, Switzerland. In 2021, she received the inaugural AHP Equine Media NextGen Award for making “a significant impact in advancing equine media while upholding journalistic excellence, integrity, and trust in a competitive communications world.”
A competitive equestrian of more than 25 years, Staszak combined her two greatest passions into a career after graduating at the top of her class from the University of Miami with a degree in broadcast journalism in 2014. She has appeared on FEI TV, CBS Sports Network, New England Sports Network, Toronto Sports Network and IMG, among other channels worldwide. She was also a SportsCenter update anchor for ESPN 106.3 radio in West Palm Beach, FL; covered local sports for ESPN West Palm, WPTV News Channel 5 and WFLX FOX 29; and was one of the youngest professional handicappers on a national simulcast when working as a TV host, analyst, and reporter at Gulfstream Park Racetrack in Hallandale Beach, FL.
Staszak has written for nearly ever major equestrian publication, covering a variety of equestrian disciplines for the likes of Horse & Hound, to the Chronicle of the Horse, Off-Track Thoroughbred magazine, The Plaid Horse and everything in between. She won American Horse Publications awards in 2013, 2014, 2017, 2018 and 2021 for her journalistic work. In 2020, she served as Press Officer at the Palm Beach Masters Series®, featuring the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ Wellington CSI4*-W, the Longines FEI Jumping Nations Cup™ USA CSIO5*, and the Palm Beach Open CSI5*.
Staszak founded Catie Staszak Media Inc. in 2018, a boutique media agency with a focus on storytelling-based marketing and PR. Catie Staszak Media, Inc. encompasses Staszak’s many multimedia journalism services, from on-air talent and producing to media consulting, media management, press, social media, website design, and more.
