Dual Enrolled, the short documentary on the demands and commitment required of equestrian student-athletes, received the award for "Best Cinematography" at the 22nd Annual 15-Minutes of Fame Film Festival Saturday night in Cocoa, FL. The festival is exclusively for short films that are 15 minutes or less, produced anywhere in the U.S.
A small, intimate "live" show took place in Cocoa on Saturday, but those who could not attend the festival in person can watch the festival for free through Nov. 28, 2022 at the festival's website. Dual Enrolled airs in Block 4 beginning at 23:22 with a short introduction from Co-Director Victoria Sheehan and Co-Executive Producer Catie Staszak. Dual Enrolled's Director of Photography is Isaac Alongi.
Presented by The Plaid Horse, Catie Staszak Media, Inc. and Victoria Sheehan Productions, Dual Enrolled follows Emma Blumenkrantz, Cristian Hacker, Natalie Jayne and Campbell Hudkins, along with coaches Lynn Jayne and TJ O’Mara as they navigate the competitive winter show season in Wellington, FL.
Each individual is at a different place in their academic and riding careers: Some attend brick and mortar school, while others take courses online or are engaged in a hybrid model; some are new to the juggle, while others have seen their work rewarded with recruitment to a Division 1 college program. Each, however, has made success in their sport possible through a unique commitment that extends far behind the few minutes seen on center stage in the show ring.
There is more than one kind of education. Get to know Emma Blumenkrantz, Cristian Hacker, Natalie Jayne and Campbell Hudkins, along with coaches Lynn Jayne and TJ O’Mara, in Dual Enrolled.
